NAME: Campestral White
ZONE: Arcos-Algar (Sierra de Cádiz)
WHAT DO YOU SEE? Clean wine, not at all cloudy, bright, pale lemon colour with greenish and golden reflections. WHAT DO YOU SMELL? Clean nose, flawless, a striking intensity, citrus and tropical nuances, lemon, lime, pineapple, ripe pineapple, ripe banana, preserving all the primary nuances. WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE? It has a smooth entry in the mouth, a medium-high acidity that makes us salivate, meaty, slightly oily in the mouth, an acidity that reminds us of baked apples, baked, with a medium body and a very light finish. WHAT TO COMBINE IT WITH? Seafood, it can combine very well with alkaline flavoured products such as oysters. Vegetables, raw or cooked. As in the ancestral, it could also combine well with desserts, fresh and acidic preparations, bitter chocolate, fresh cheese and smoked fish.
